Zhu Zhu Pets set for another great Christmas

Zhu Zhu Pets provide children with an almost lifelike experience of having a real pet. These toys are perfect for entertaining children but avoid all the hassles that come with real pets that parents often have to deal with. The problem with real pets as they are expensive and require a lot of time, you will find that a lot of money has to go on food, medications and other expensive things.

The benefit of having a toy, instead of a pet, is that they can simply be switched off and they don’t come with any additional responsibilities. The only problem you might face with these new toys is the children love them so much they are going to constantly ask you to buy new accessories for them.

They are electronic toys that look like stuffed animals. The original range contains four different types of hamster and each has a different name, personality and colour. All four of them have cute names that children are sure to love and they will provide endless fun for your children this Christmas. One of the things the children enjoy most is their natural desire to explore and they can also be put into an environment which triggers them to make certain remarks and noises.

For children they provide an experience of what owning an actual hamster is like. The only problem with them is that they are in incredibly high demand and many stores are sold out. It is possible to find the pets on the Internet and here their prices have been inflated by people who’ve purchased them and are now looking to sell them for a profit. If you want to save money it can be worth calling round a lot of stores to see if they have them in stock.

DaGeDar balls and Zhu Zhu Pets

DaGeDar balls and Zhu Zhu Pets are toys that are very popular among children and the company that is responsible for creating them has recently announced that there is to be a new set of toys in the range, Xia Xia Pets.

The new type of pets are crabs and they are just as interactive as the previous toys. The name of the pets comes from the Chinese word for thank you and the way you pronounce it is ‘Sha Sha.’ In the first batch of toys the company is going to be releasing there are four different types and they are all hermit crabs. The names they have been given are the Bimini, Turks, Trinidad and Tobago.

Toy Retailers Association this year’s top dream toys

The Toy Retailers Association has recently created a list of what it considers to be this year’s top dream toys. There is no question that there are some unusual toys making a list as well as new takes on all-time classics. One of the most unusual toys this year, which children seem to love, but parents are less fond of, is a dog that is able to poo.

This year the toy retailers Association seems to have chosen mostly toys that have a technological aspect and many retailers expect this type of toy to be very successful.

It seems that tablet PCs targeted at children are going to be very popular. Many of these devices are clearly designed to look similar to the Apple iPad, which is something that remains popular with many parents. The LeapPad Explorer is one of these toys and it will be retailing at just under £80.

The dream toys selection panel chairman is Gary Grant and he has commented, “This year has seen a great many technical advancements seen in the toy market. The toys are not necessarily entirely designed to target those who are a fan of technology, mostly they are utilising technology to make play more fun.”

Last year one of the bestselling toys was a digital camera designed for children by VTech. This year a zoom function has been added and it is expected that this toy will once again be a top seller.

This year was the first time that the toy retailers Association had conducted a survey of children to see which toys they think would be most popular. It seems that the children mostly agreed with the Association and many of them selected toys with a technological aspect. Many of these chosen toys were classics that had been given a new twist by the introduction of technology.

Mr Grant continued, “The use of technology is proving that the toy industry is a dynamic and innovative place. The addition of technology to classic toys just shows how the industry is constantly improving and coming up with new ideas. We are even seeing such classic toys like Mickey Mouse being brought up to date by technology.”

The defecating dog toy is called Doggie Doo, and is able to poo brown plasticine. The toy recently appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show and this has led to a gaining quite a lot of publicity and made it the star of the dream toys media launch which took place last Wednesday.

While children might think it’s hilarious when the dog poos and makes appropriate noises, the parents are less keen and ultimately they are the ones who are going to be deciding whether they pay for it or not.
